Turkish LIRA (TL)
Turkish Lira (TL) is used again from the beginning of 01.01.2009 after a revolution of New Turkish Lira in 01.01.2005. In this revolution 6 decimals were removed from the Money any 1.000.000 TL was equalized to 1 YTL and 1 TL after 01.01.2009.
Please note that in 2009 both YTL and TL denominations are being in use. 1,5,10,50,100 and 200 TL notes are in circulation.
1 TL is composed of 100 Kurus and the coins, 1,5,10,50 Kurus are in circulation.
