Qatar's 21.1% GDP GrowthJanuary 2011 Qatar's statistics authority, QSA, released estimates for the third quarter of 2010 compared to 2009 third quarter. The GDP for the third quarter of 2010, estimated at 111.25 billion Qatari Riyal increased by 21.1% compared to the same quarter in 2009 . The mining and quarrying sector which includes oil and gas industry representing about 51% of the GDP grew by 36.2% compared to the same period in 2009 . |
