Poland's Labor MarketFebruary 2011 The Polish Central Statistics Office, GUS, released data relating to the labor market. In January 2011 the unemployment rate reached 13%, compared to 12.3% in December 2010 and 12.9% in January 2010. The number of unemployed persons in January 2011was around 2.1 million. The number of employees in the enterprise sector increased in January 2011 by 3.8% compared to January 2010. The average gross salary in the enterprise sector in January 2011 was 3,391.6 Zloty compared to 3,231.1 Zloty in January 2010. |
